National Indigenous Peoples Day Blanket Exercise

Blankets are laid out on the ground to represent the land, participants will walk in the moccasins of the first people through pre-contact, treaty-making, colonization, and resistance.

Join us on National Indigenous Peoples Day (June 21, 2018) at 5:00 p.m. at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre for the Blanket Exercise. This is an interactive learning experience designed to broaden awareness about the history of Indigenous peoples and Canada.

This is a free event and open to everyone; however due to mature content participants must be 12+.
